Unapologetically Amber: Living Life, Unfiltered

What I’m Currently Reading (and What’s Up Next on My Shelf)

As you probably know by now, I’m a book girl. I love sharing what I’m reading, what’s speaking to me, and what’s sitting next on my nightstand just waiting to be cracked open.

Right now, I’m diving into a couple of reflective, journal-style books, and I’ve already lined up my next few reads—two are focused on personal growth and manifestation, and one is purely for fun (because we need both, right?).

✍️ Currently Reading:

🕊️ Awaken: 90 Days with the God Who Speaks by Priscilla Shirer

This one is deep and devotional. It’s meant to be read over 90 days, and each entry encourages prayer, scripture reflection, and spiritual connection. I love how grounded and honest it is—it’s not rushed, and it’s helping me slow down and really listen.

The Glow Up Journal by Danielle Richardson, OD

This journal is a guided self-discovery journey focused on building confidence, clarity, and purpose. It’s equal parts reflection and action, and it’s helping me get clear on who I am becoming. It’s not something you fly through—it’s more of a slow, thoughtful glow-up from the inside out.

📖 Up Next on My Reading List:

🏚️ Craven Manor by Darcy Coates

This is my just-for-fun spooky read. Craven Manor is a gothic horror novel with a haunted house, creepy secrets, and a mysterious job offer no one in their right mind should accept. Darcy Coates is one of my go-to authors for atmospheric fiction that keeps you reading late into the night. I’m excited (and maybe a little nervous?) to get into this one.

💫 The Key to Living the Law of Attraction by Jack Canfield

If you’re into manifestation or the Law of Attraction, this one’s considered a foundational read. Jack Canfield breaks down how to actually apply the law to your everyday life—with clarity and actionable steps. It’s practical and motivational, and I’m excited to see how it aligns with the mindset work I’ve already been doing.

💸 Rich As Fck* by Amanda Frances (+ Journal)

Let’s be real—the title caught me. This one is all about rewriting your money mindset, claiming abundance, and stepping into the version of yourself that no longer plays small. Amanda Frances speaks in a direct, empowering tone, and the companion journal will help me integrate the lessons and shifts into my day-to-day life. I’m excited (and slightly intimidated) to dive into this one.

📚 Why This Mix?

Because growth doesn’t happen in just one area. I love mixing spiritual reflection, personal development, and just-for-fun fiction to keep things balanced. Some books stretch me, some soothe me, and some let me escape for a while—and I think all three are essential.
