Happy February!

Let’s talk goals and accomplishments. January was a month of progress, learning, and some challenges, but overall, I’m proud of what I achieved.

January Goals Recap

My health goal was to lose 5 lbs, and I did exactly that! 🎉 I also aimed to meditate daily and meal plan more consistently. Meditation didn’t happen every day, and meal planning was hit or miss—definitely an area I need to improve.

For my financial goals, I successfully listed all my debts in my Becoming Debt Free book, saved $100, and did an okay job tracking expenses. There were a few transactions I forgot to record, so I need to be more diligent in categorizing them to get a clearer picture of my budget.

Academically, my school goal was simply to do well in my class. The course is still ongoing, and while it’s more intimidating than I expected, I’m giving it my all. That’s all I can ask of myself.

Business-wise, I set a goal to close two houses as a transaction coordinator and gain one new client as a realtor. I ended up closing just one house, so there’s room for growth in February.

Lastly, my fun goal was to go to the movies, but that didn’t happen. Life got in the way!

However, I made some bonus accomplishments:
📚 I read three books—Pray First, Good Vibes, Good Life, and All the Dangerous Things—all highly recommended!
✅ I tackled almost everything on my purge list, except for getting rid of broken electronics (need to destroy some hard drives first).

Overcoming Struggles in January

I anticipated struggles with sticking to a budget, staying motivated, and maintaining positivity. Surprisingly, I did well in these areas! Pray First and Good Vibes, Good Life helped me maintain a positive mindset, and my motivations—reducing debt, feeling better, and building positive habits—kept me going.

February Goals & Intentions

💪 Health Goals:
✔️ Lose another 5 lbs
✔️ Reduce headaches (starting a new migraine medication!)
✔️ Drink more water
✔️ Meal plan more consistently (any easy meal ideas? Help!)

💰 Financial Goals:
✔️ Save any and all spare change (bank round-up feature activated)
✔️ Create a more realistic budget
✔️ Cut one expense (canceled ScentBird, saving $19/month!)

📚 School Goal:
✔️ Continue working hard and pass this class (ends in March)

🏡 Business Goals:

Anticipated Struggles & Staying Motivated

I foresee challenges with staying on budget and maintaining motivation. Variable expenses like gas and electricity throw me off, but I’m determined to stay on track. My biggest motivators are reducing debt, increasing savings, and building a positive mindset.

February Reading List & Purge Goals

📖 You Are a Badass & Hurt, Healing, Healed are my self-help picks. If I finish both, I’ll reward myself with a fiction book (TBD).

🚮 Purge List:
✔️ Declutter pantry (donate unused food)
✔️ Discard unused chemicals

Final Thoughts

Meal planning is still a struggle—I’m always the one making food decisions, and it’s exhausting. But at the end of the day, I’m grateful to have food and a family to cook for. Perspective is everything.

Now, I want to hear from you:
✨ What did you accomplish in January?
✨ What are your February goals?

Let’s motivate and support each other—because life is hard, but we don’t have to do it alone. 💙
