First and foremost, May the 4th be with you! As a Catholic, I always want to say “and with your spirit” afterward—but I know that’s not quite appropriate here. 😄
It’s a beautiful Sunday here in South Carolina. My husband and I took full advantage of the gorgeous weather by planting new bushes and flowers in our front flowerbed. After that surprise snowstorm, some of our plants didn’t make it, and we’ve been working on reviving our curb appeal. It’s a slow process, but we’re making progress!
On the bright side—my garden is thriving. We’ve got new sprouts of eggplant, sunflowers, Hungarian hot peppers, peas, and carnations. I had to tie up the tomato plants because they were getting wild! And the best part? We have squash and zucchini blossoms popping up. I am beyond excited!
Busy Season: Work, School & Business
This month is packed! Between work, school starting back up (yikes), and my real estate transaction coordination business, I’m in full-blown multitasking mode.
School is resuming after a short break, and it feels surreal knowing that in a year or so, I’ll be Dr. Amber Walsh. Sometimes I have doubts—but that’s just the Devil trying to trip me up. I’m committed, I work hard, and I’m passionate about this journey.
Meanwhile, my Transaction Coordinator business is doing really well. I love the contract and organizational side of real estate—it just comes naturally to me. I do need to up my own real estate game, but I genuinely enjoy the behind-the-scenes hustle more.
Planner Talk & Budgeting Goals
It’s planner season again! My current work planner ends in June/July, so I’m shopping around. I like my current one, but I may go back to a similar version that’s more budget-friendly. Speaking of expensive… why are plants so pricey now?
We’re trying to manage our money better, and one area we’re really trying to improve is eating out less. If you have easy, non-pasta recipes (my husband is not a fan 😩), I’d love your suggestions!
