March was a good month.

We had a mix of beautiful warm days and a few chilly ones—honestly, the kind of weather that reminds you a new season is right around the corner.

And as I do at the end of each month, I’m sitting down to reflect on my goals, what I accomplished, and what I learned along the way.

Because let’s be real—progress isn’t just about what gets done. It’s about what you take with you moving forward.

Financial Goals

Goal:

  • Pay off one debt
  • Save $100

What actually happened:
I paid off a medical bill and a credit card.

That’s a win in my book.

Did I save money?

No… no I did not.

But honestly? I’m okay with that.

Because progress still happened—and sometimes that’s what matters most.

Health Goals

Goal:

  • Start morning walks
  • Increase water intake
  • Lose 5 pounds

What actually happened:

  • I did increase my water intake ✔️
  • I did not start morning walks ❌
  • And I actually gained 3 pounds

And you know what? I’m not upset about it.

From the first Sunday of the month to the last, I was doing really well—until this final week. And to be real (and maybe a little TMI), I was on my cycle… so I’m going to go ahead and say water weight played a role here.

But beyond that, I think I needed rest.

And instead of forcing myself into routines that didn’t feel aligned, I listened to my body.

That counts for something.

Business Goals

Goal:

  • Close three homes as a transaction coordinator
  • Attend a networking or client event

What actually happened:

  • I closed five homes ✔️
  • I had dinner with a past client and realtor friend ✔️

Huge wins.

This is one of those areas where consistency and showing up really paid off.

Personal Goals

Goal:

  • Read two books
  • Spend at least half a day without my phone

What actually happened:

  • I read nine books ✔️
  • I unplugged during the Flowertown Festival ✔️

Honestly… I surprised myself here.

Books I Read This Month

  • The Secret to Love, Health, and Money
  • The Power of Self-Discipline
  • From Self-Doubt to God Confidence
  • Eliminate Negative Thinking
  • The Declutter Journey
  • Where He Can’t Find You
  • The Aladdin Factor
  • Get Rich Lucky Bitch
  • Manifest Like a Mother

Family Goal

Goal:

  • Attend the Flowertown Festival

What actually happened:
My husband and I went two out of the three days—and the day we missed?

Our new furniture was delivered.

Honestly… win-win.

I love the Flowertown Festival, and new furniture just makes everything feel more elevated at home.

Bucket List Moment

Goal:

  • Bake muffins one day

What actually happened:
I made muffins on Sunday morning—two kinds because I couldn’t decide:

  • Lemon poppyseed
  • Cinnamon sugar

And yes… they were worth it.

Extra Wins (Because They Count Too)

  • Added liner to two kitchen cabinets (by myself 💁‍♀️)
  • Decluttered those cabinets

Because let’s be honest—those small wins? They add up.

First Quarter Reflection

When I zoom out and look at the first quarter as a whole…

It’s been successful.

  • Listed all debts and created a payoff plan
  • Read 21 books
  • Closed on 10 homes as a transaction coordinator
  • Decluttered multiple spaces
  • Upgraded our living room furniture

That’s progress.

That’s growth.

That’s showing up—even when everything isn’t perfect.

Lessons Learned This Month

  • Progress doesn’t have to look perfect
  • Rest is sometimes more important than routine
  • Small wins deserve to be celebrated
  • Consistency will always outperform perfection

Final Thoughts

March reminded me that life isn’t about checking every box.

It’s about:

  • Showing up
  • Adjusting when needed
  • And giving yourself grace along the way

Because even when everything doesn’t go as planned…

You’re still moving forward.

Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing my April goals and intentions—and I’m excited to see what this next month (and quarter) brings.

Let’s make it a good one.
