Let’s talk about planning. What does my planner life look like right now? Well… let’s just say I don’t believe in the one-planner-fits-all method. I keep multiple planners—yes, plural—and before you roll your eyes and ask “But why so many?” let me take you behind the scenes of how I keep my life moving with this system. (Spoiler: it keeps me sane. And yes, I may or may not need a support group for planner addicts.)
🏡 My Home Planner
This is the hub of my personal life. My home planner holds:
- Appointments and family obligations
- A monthly notes page with goals, a purge list, and accomplishments
- A monthly overview for birthdays and special dates
- Weekly and daily to-dos to keep our home organized
Do I check everything off perfectly? Nope—but it keeps us moving forward. I also decorate it with stickers when I’m feeling creative. For 2026, I’m hoping to lean more into this as a creative outlet. Each daily box has room for gratitude, meal planning, and tracking daily spending—little details that keep home life smoother.
💻 My Work Planner
This one is all business. Inside, you’ll find:
- My daily schedule
- Appointments (including doctor visits that interrupt my workday)
- A long, sometimes intimidating to-do list
- Daily quotes for inspiration
It’s my most practical planner, but also the one that keeps me grounded at work.
💰 My Budget Planner
This planner is essential for keeping my finances in check. It includes:
- A monthly budget
- Budgets by paycheck
- A daily space where I track gratitude, three goals, and meal planning
- A small habit tracker
Confession: my planned meals don’t always match what we actually eat. (Taco Tuesday sometimes turns into cereal-for-dinner Tuesday, and that’s okay!)
📈 My Business Planners (Yes, Two!)
- Business Budget Planner: Tracks all incoming and outgoing funds for my business.
- Business Growth Planner: A more intentional tool where I focus on goals, strategies, and projects to grow my business.
✨ Why So Many Planners?
I know what you’re thinking: How do you keep up with all of them? The truth is, my planners are what keep me feeling “put together.” I check them in the morning before my day starts and in the evening before my day ends. It’s my rhythm, my system, and honestly—my secret weapon for staying organized.
And let’s face it… there are worse addictions than being a planner junkie, right? At least my chaos is color-coded. 😉
🌿 Extra Tips for Multi-Planner Life
If you’re thinking about juggling more than one planner, here are a few tips that help me:
- Assign each planner a purpose. Don’t overlap too much or you’ll double your work.
- Create a morning and evening review routine. A 5-minute check-in makes a huge difference.
- Make it fun. Stickers, highlighters, and pretty pens aren’t necessary—but they keep you motivated.
- Be flexible. Planners should support your life, not control it.
