Unapologetically Amber: Living Life, Unfiltered

Easter Reflections, Garden Sprouts, Busy Weeks & A Call for New Recipes!

Happy Easter, friends! 🌸
Today is the day the Lord has risen—what a beautiful reminder of hope, salvation, and new life. There’s such comfort in knowing we are saved, and Easter always brings a sense of renewed strength. For us, it’s also a much-needed day of rest and relaxation.

This year’s Easter feast looks a little different. Instead of the traditional ham and deviled eggs, we’re smoking a pork butt and going full BBQ mode—coleslaw, potato salad, corn, and maybe some baked beans to round it all out. The kids (now teens) still got their Easter baskets. I kept it simple: a family game to enjoy together, a little candy, and some self-care items—because let’s be honest, basic is the season we’re in. 😄

Whether you celebrate Easter or not, I hope this Sunday brings you peace and joy.

Garden Updates 🌱

We’re starting to see life in the garden! Most of our veggies have begun to sprout—just waiting on the celery, carrots, and garlic to catch up. After I finish writing this, I’m heading outside to prep another garden bed and get some more seeds going.

Yesterday, we grabbed a few flowers for the front yard, some marigolds for the garden, and added more veggies and herbs to our collection. I also have a ton of seeds that I might just plant on a whim. No set plan—just letting the garden guide me this year!

Work Life & Real Estate Hustle 🏡

This week is already shaping up to be a busy one. I’ve got several meetings, a to-do list a mile long, and my real estate business is full steam ahead. I’m closing three deals this week, another one next week, and I’ve already booked one for May—grateful and staying busy!

By the way, if you’re a Realtor in South Carolina looking for a Transaction Coordinator, I’d love to connect. I take a lot off your plate—from contracts to compliance—and help things run smoother. Let’s chat if you’re ready to free up some time and reduce stress!

Looking Ahead to School 🎓

School starts back May 12, and I’m feeling both excited and a little anxious. I know it’s going to be a lot of work, but I’ve been using my break to do some prep and research. Hoping that head start helps when things kick off again!

Help a Girl Out—Send Recipes! 🍽️

Last thing—can y’all help me out with something? I’m looking for inexpensive, delicious recipes that don’t involve pasta (please, I’m pasta’d out 😅). Bonus points if they’re crockpot or oven-friendly. I’m just tired of digging through Pinterest only to see the same ten ideas on repeat. What are your go-to meals?

Thanks for reading this little life update. Wishing you a peaceful and joyful rest of your weekend. 💛
