April Goals and Intentions: Reset, Refocus, and Stay Consistent in 2026

Hello, April!

Can you believe we just wrapped up the first quarter of 2026? Because honestly… it flew by.

There’s something about the start of a new month that feels like a fresh start—a chance to reset, refocus, and realign with your goals.

If you’ve been here for a while, you know this is something I love to do: set my goals and intentions at the beginning of each month and then reflect at the end to see how things actually played out.

So here we go—these are my April goals, intentions, and a little bit of real life in between.

Financial Goals

This month, I’m focusing on both progress and awareness.

  • Pay off two credit cards
  • Track all income
  • Cut one expense
  • Save any spare change
  • Save $50

I already track my personal and business income, but I recently read something that really shifted my perspective:

Discounts and savings can also be viewed as a form of income.

And honestly, that hit me.

It’s such a simple mindset shift, but it really highlights how financially blessed we are in ways we don’t always recognize. So this month, I’ve created a separate tracker just for that—and I’m excited to see what my true income looks like.

Health Goals

After a recent health scare, I’m taking a more intentional approach to my health.

  • Lose 5 pounds
  • Walk 30 minutes every day
  • Increase water intake
  • Reduce sugar intake (this one might be a challenge)

The goal here isn’t perfection—it’s consistency.

Walking 30 minutes a day feels manageable and realistic, and right now, that’s exactly what I need. Small, sustainable changes that support my long-term health.

Business Goals

Keeping things focused and disciplined this month:

  • Close on two houses as a transaction coordinator
  • Refrain from using business income for anything other than taxes

This is about creating stronger boundaries and building long-term stability—not just short-term wins.

Personal Goals

This month is about growth in simple, intentional ways:

  • Read two books
  • Start time blocking my schedule at least two days a week

I keep reminding myself:
Slow, incremental changes lead to big progress.

It doesn’t have to be all or nothing.

Bucket List Moment

Because life isn’t just about goals—it’s about enjoying the little things too.

This month, I want to:

  • Place potted flowers on my front porch

I’m thinking hydrangeas… something soft, simple, and welcoming.

My Anticipated Challenge

I don’t always call this out, but I think it’s important to be real:

Consistency can be a challenge for me.

Not because I don’t care—but because life happens, energy shifts, and motivation comes and goes.

So instead of ignoring that, I’m acknowledging it and choosing to work through it.

April Affirmation

To support myself this month, I created a personal affirmation:

“I am taking consistent steps to achieve my health and wealth goals.”

Not perfect steps.
Not massive steps.
Just consistent ones.

Final Thoughts

April feels like a month of alignment.

Not rushing.
Not forcing.
Just showing up, doing the work, and trusting that it adds up.

If you’re setting goals this month too, remember:

You don’t have to do everything—you just have to start.

And then keep going.
