Setting Intentions: Manifesting a Productive and Purposeful First Week of July

Well here we are—July is officially in full swing, and with it comes a fresh week of possibilities.
This month is going to be an aspirational one for me. I’m setting intentions and doing my best to take action, even when the motivation isn’t always there. From meal planning to exercise to getting our home in order, I’ve got some big—but doable—goals.

Will I hit them all? Maybe not.
But I will give it my best effort.

1. Sticking to the Meal Plan

✅ I’ve created my full July meal plan, done the shopping, and now comes the hard part—sticking to it.
I’m manifesting this intention by choosing to see meal planning not as a chore, but as an act of self-discipline and love for my family and our finances. Plus, it reduces the daily “what’s for dinner?” stress. And let’s be honest—that alone is worth it.

2. Incorporating Light Strength Training

💪 Weightlifting? Yes, really.
It turns out resistance training is especially helpful as we age—not just for building lean muscle, but also for reducing the risk of osteoporosis and improving mental health.

This week, my intention is:

  • 3 strength training sessions
  • 15 minutes each
  • Focus: Full-body, light weights, slow and steady.

Let’s not forget—starting small is still starting.

3. Getting the House in Order

🏠 This week’s goal: Complete 80% of my daily tasks from the Passionate Penny Pincher home planner, declutter one item each day, and check off one larger monthly task.
The truth is, I thrive in an orderly space. When my house is more organized, my mind feels less chaotic. I’m manifesting a home that supports peace and productivity.


To stay motivated and focused, I’ll be:

  • Tuning into my favorite motivational podcasts
  • Blaring some feel-good music
  • Using positive affirmations and subliminal messages to help rewire my internal dialogue and keep my energy high
