Hello July!
Welcoming the sweltering summer month of July allows us to embrace long days, warm evenings, and fresh opportunities for growth and reflection.
From a spiritual perspective, July is traditionally dedicated to the Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. The Blood represents redemption, sacrifice, and renewal. For me, it’s a beautiful way to begin the month—with the reminder that Jesus died for our sins, and in that, I am redeemed. It inspires me to continue making choices that align with grace, goodness, and becoming a better version of myself.
With that heart-centered perspective in mind, here are my goals for July:
🎯 July Goals: Mind, Body, and Spirit
- Lose 5 lbs. this month
At the time of writing, I’m not sure if I’ll hit this—but I’m staying mindful of movement and nourishment. - Increase monthly savings from $25 to $30
I’ve already automated $25/month into my savings—now it’s time to push just a little more. Small steps make a big difference. - Blog daily
Blogging has been a wonderful outlet. This month, I want to keep writing and reflecting.
Need blog topic ideas? I’d love to hear what you’d like to read! - Close 2 houses as a Transaction Coordinator
Continuing to grow professionally and help families find their homes! - Celebrate the 4th of July + go to the beach at least twice
Summer fun is important too. These are simple joys I’m carving out time for. - Sell unused items around the house
It’s a great time to declutter, make room, and earn a little extra cash. - Reassess my budget + start the Round-Up Challenge
If I spend $27.50, I’ll round up to $28 and put the $0.50 into savings. Easy and impactful.
🍽️ The Big Focus: Meal Planning
Meal planning has always been a challenge for me. Between picky eaters and changing cravings, it can feel overwhelming. But this July, I’ve created a full monthly meal calendar with something different planned for each day.

The real challenge? Sticking to it. But even having a guide is helping me shop smarter and reduce last-minute takeout.
🎒 Back-to-School Prep Starts Now
Even though it’s still summer, school will be here before we know it. This month, I’ll be:
- Picking up school supplies if I see a good sale
- Looking out for deals on clothes and shoes
- Making a checklist for what each child needs
- Planning ahead to avoid the August rush!
