There’s something powerful about a new season.
It naturally invites reflection… and release.
Not just decluttering your home—but decluttering your thoughts, your habits, and even your beliefs.
This season, I’ve been asking myself:
What am I holding onto that no longer serves me?
And more importantly…
What am I ready to release?
Emotional Release: Letting Go of Negative Self-Talk
Emotionally, I’m releasing negative self-talk.
The kind that quietly creeps in when things don’t go as planned:
- Doubts about my worth
- Worries about my finances
- Fear around my health
- Questioning myself in moments of uncertainty
And if I’m being honest… sometimes the way I talk to myself isn’t kind.
So I’m shifting that.
I’m choosing to think about my inner dialogue differently:
Would I accept this from a friend?
Because let’s be real—if my friends spoke to me the way I sometimes speak to myself, we wouldn’t be friends.
So why is it acceptable coming from me?
This season, I’m working on:
- Replacing limiting beliefs with supportive thoughts
- Speaking to myself with patience and understanding
- Catching negative thoughts and consciously shifting them
Because the relationship I have with myself sets the tone for everything else.
Releasing Limiting Beliefs Around Money
Financially, I’m doing some releasing too.
Starting with language.
I’m letting go of saying things like:
- “We’re broke”
- “We’re poor”
Because the truth is—we’re not.
And words matter.
What we say repeatedly becomes what we believe. And what we believe shapes how we act.
So instead, I’m shifting toward:
- Awareness
- Gratitude
- Responsibility
Not lack.
Releasing the Need to Say Yes to Everything
Another big one for me—especially as a mom:
I’m releasing the need to say “yes” every time my kids want something.
Not because I don’t want to give them the world—but because:
- Not everything is a need
- Boundaries are important
- And discipline creates long-term stability
Saying “no” doesn’t mean I’m taking something away.
It means I’m teaching value.
It means I’m creating structure.
It means I’m thinking long-term—not just in the moment.
Creating Space for Better Habits
Releasing isn’t about lack—it’s about making room.
When I let go of:
- Negative self-talk
- Limiting money beliefs
- Unnecessary spending habits
I create space for:
- Confidence
- Financial growth
- Intentional living
- Peace of mind
And that’s what I want more of.
What This Season Is Teaching Me
This season is teaching me that growth isn’t always about adding more.
Sometimes, it’s about subtracting.
Letting go of what weighs you down.
Releasing what no longer aligns.
Choosing better—on purpose.
Final Thoughts
Releasing isn’t always easy.
It takes awareness.
It takes honesty.
It takes intention.
But it’s worth it.
Because every time you let go of something that no longer serves you…
you make room for something that does.
So if you’re in a season of change, ask yourself:
What am I ready to release?
And then—little by little—start letting it go.
