November Reflection: Gratitude, Goals, and Preparing for a Powerful December

Today is the last day of November, and as usual, I love to take a moment to recap the month. This November, I chose to focus solely on gratitude, and it truly shifted my perspective in ways I didn’t expect.

The more I leaned into gratitude, the more I realized how deeply blessed we all are—far more blessed than we sometimes acknowledge. Even the smallest, most ordinary things hold meaning. Something as simple as a warm cup of coffee can instantly remind you that not everyone has that luxury. Gratitude is often found in the quietest moments, and this month I learned just how important it is to notice them.

🌿 My November Goals

Here were my intentions for the month:

  • Lose 5 lbs.
  • Increase daily movement
  • Pay off a credit card
  • Practice gratitude budgeting
  • Have an unplug day
  • Create consistent content
  • Visit Donnelley
  • Enjoy Thanksgiving
  • Purge old items

And truthfully? I didn’t accomplish all of them—but I did honor several of them meaningfully.

💛 What I Did Accomplish

Even though this wasn’t a “perfect month,” it was a powerful month. Here’s what I did complete, and what it taught me:

✨ Gratitude Budgeting

This was one of the biggest wins of the month.
Gratitude budgeting means approaching your finances from a place of appreciation rather than pressure. Instead of just saying:

“I have to pay this bill,”

you shift your mindset to:

“I’m thankful I can pay this bill.”
“I’m grateful to have electricity, groceries, a home, transportation, and comfort.”

It’s a perspective that softens the stress around money while increasing abundance energy. When you’re grateful for money, you attract more stability, clarity, and flow.

Gratitude budgeting also helped me reassess my spending—not from guilt, but from alignment. Instead of focusing solely on debt payoff, I focused on appreciating the resources I have right now. I also lost one pound so super grateful for that.

✨ Content Creation

I batched several pieces of content so I could step back and be more present with family. This helped me reconnect to why I create content in the first place: to share, inspire, and grow—not to rush or chase.

✨ Thanksgiving + Travel

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, peaceful and full of togetherness. Our trip back home was safe, and I always count that as a blessing in itself.

✨ Donations & Purging

We donated food to the blessing pantry, and I spent time purging old mail—something small, but incredibly freeing. Every small declutter is a release of stagnant energy.

✨ Books I Read

This month I read:

  • The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
  • Starcrossed Nocturne by Nadine Theiss
  • The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy

All three books will have full reviews coming soon. Each one gave me something different—presence, imagination, mindset tools, and inspiration.

🎄 Looking Ahead: December’s Energy

Now, as we step into December, the energy shifts. The holiday season begins, the year wraps up, and we naturally begin reflecting on what we’re taking into the new year—and what we’re leaving behind.

December invites us to:

slow down
cherish time with loved ones
set powerful year-end intentions
manifest from clarity, not chaos
celebrate growth, even the uncomfortable kind

It’s a bridge between who we were and who we are becoming.

For me, December will be about finishing the year in alignment—not perfection, but presence. I’m focusing on gratitude, gentle planning, intentional manifestation, and preparing my space, mindset, and goals for a strong, peaceful start to the new year.

🌟 Closing Thoughts

November taught me that gratitude is more than a feeling—it’s a lifestyle, a grounding force, and a powerful manifesting tool. I may not have crossed off every goal, but I grew, learned, reflected, and showed up with intention. And that matters.

Here’s to December…
a month of magic, closure, celebration, and preparing for the abundant year ahead.
