✨ Farewell September: Wins, Lessons & Memories Before Spooky Season Begins ✨

Farewell September, it has been a ride. Since today marks the last day of the month, I thought I’d take a moment to reflect on everything this month held.

First and foremost, there were blessings, fun, and of course, a few challenges. For my health goals, I had intended to lose 5 pounds but only lost three. Still, that’s progress, and progress is a win! I also planned to start exercising, but honestly—that was a bust. On the financial side, I didn’t save the $200 I wanted, but I did pay down my credit cards, which is always worth celebrating.

My reading goals went beyond expectations: I read three books instead of two—The Power of Focus by Jack Canfield, Manifest: 7 Steps to Living Your Best Life by Roxie Nafousi, and Craven Manor by Darcey Coates. Each one gave me a mix of motivation, inspiration, and a touch of chills.

On the creative and business side, I launched my podcast (so exciting!) while continuing to blog and vlog on TikTok. For my business, I increased my prices and celebrated a closing on one house. And while I do have another closing today, in my book, it doesn’t officially count until the money hits the bank.

This month wasn’t just about goals though—it was about experiences. We celebrated Labor Day weekend with a classic low country boil, enjoyed the Broadway play Beauty and the Beast, and soaked in the magic of the Charleston Symphony.

Even with a few health struggles, September was a good month overall. Now, I’m ready to embrace October—spooky season, cozy vibes, and all the creepy movies I can handle.

What’s your favorite scary movie or fall tradition? Drop your recommendations in the comments—I need to add some to my October watchlist!
